What are the Best UX Courses?
There are so many methods UXers can implement in order to improve one’s user experience design skills. From books, interviews, and blogs, there are endless resources out there to help today’s designers excel in their professions. One method I find to be quite useful within this pool of resources are UX courses. These course are taught both online and in person, and provide the opportunity to learn a wide range of useful design skills.
I came across this question on Quora, “What are the best UX courses?” and decided I just had to share some of the well researched and helpful responses written by some of the industry’s finest UX experts.

“The good news is.. the world and the internet are fuuuulllll with fantastic UX courses :) You just have to find the best one for you.
These are the things that I personally think about when choosing…
Location: Do you want to go to a campus or learn online?
- Cost: What is your budget? Can you afford a full-on university program?
- Content Quality: Do you want something beginner? More advanced?
- Schedule: Will you be part-time or full-time with your studies? Do you want to go to classes (fixed schedule) or learn at your own pace??
- Interaction/Engagement: Do you just want information and material? Or do you want courses that are more interactive in the learning process? Does it matter to you? At all?
- Future Direction: Do you want to be a teacher? Start your own business? Be a freelancer?
- Support: How much support will you need from your peers and teacher? Some classes are so big, it’s difficult to get support. Sometimes, it doesn’t matter.
These factors intermingle to define what is ‘best.’ My personal favorite UX courses are from:
